From Corning to Oregon, we changed our path for now. Powell seemed a bit daunting right now, and we felt the pull to Mel’s, headed there to meet our new friend tomorrow, looking forward to watching this new road unfold. We have not, experientially ,or collectively made the decision I guess to stay in Oregon. Even, if I am off on my own in a tree house, I may not budging, at least for now from this state.

On the way here, the sounds, the squeals and the rumbles started, Sage and I asked Billy to stop and listen, questioned the sound. Too concerned for what he heard, he just continued to push on up the mountain. Clunk! The drive shaft fell out. Stuck 2 days in Weed, CA we slept in the bus at the service center while waiting for our parts. God had blessed us once again, by allowing the service center to offer William assistance, but, freeing him to put the parts on and in to save us money.

But, of course tow ride, and parts still equal about $500…. ahhh, thank goodness, no fees on parking or labor.

a beautiful friend I had met at Desert Rocks has opened up her home and driveway to us, another Cancer woman friend. My life couldn’t be any more grand, as I sit each morning drinking coffee with honey and cream, lost in a smokey, faded memory of my distant past. Sitting on her deck reminds me of the days that I have let me pass, as I have trying to get to Oregon, personally for 15 years. The luxury of the lush green grass certainly has already given me it’s grasp. Don’t think I’m turning away this time.

We have enjoyed walking around the neighborhood of Ashland, quite magical of a place when in the woods. The town is quaint , tho, the people would do good bearing being less “crunchy”

I am still on a quest, however, looking for the land of the tree huggers, not the ones of physical sorts, the ones of much more from a mystical place. Ashland is a great town, walking distance to everything, anywhere in the community, it is quite a beautiful place of being.

Headed to Eugene area tomorrow, hoping for stabilization for a while and roots.

I must say we have been many places and stayed amongst many people, but, this place for sure is amongst one of the best and most memorable experiences.

The Rv Park is right off the Corning Exit from I-5 in Ca, be sure to grab the passport america rate of $14.30 for a night. The managers, Julie and Mike are so personable, hospitable and just good people.

The residents sweet, kind and extremely generous(we have been gifted herbs, food, books, feathers and my Sunflower Hat). The park is quaint, and has wifi and a pool wish was very much needed these few weeks we have been in and around Corning. Temperatures got to be 107 some days.

Just arrived here after being shifted in location 3 times for http://mysticgardenparty.com/. The final location was perfect and couldn’t have been more majickal! The people were amazing, the festival~ good intentions, but, needs fine tuning.

These last few days in Manton, Ca were some of the best of our lives. The friends, the work, the space, the growth, the creek, the sacred land.

It could not have been more perfect.

I will hope to write more later, for now……Keep Smilin’ and stay tuned, as we are venturing towards Lake Powell, but, first stop: San Francisco

Well, Hell if I know anymore

Life is filled with so many beautiful people and absolutely amazing opportunities~

I have in my life grown accustomed to, and thought life was only limited to well, limits. As growing from a child you see Big RED Stop Signs, Yield, Stop on Red, Slow Down, SPEED LIMIT. The only thing that tell you to go… Is well, that, green light. A whole big world, and the only one without limitations on your part is the green light. It has only been in the last few years that I have learned for myself to break down all the boundaries. Which, I, myself, again, am still working on. In this life, we have seen people so limited, feeling so “stuck” in such a dead-end.

Being on this bus, has taught me many things, I learn something new about myself each day, I know this isn’t a journal about me, but, hell, I am the one writing it. So, if you are still reading, then I guess, you are enjoying the listen.

The limits are gone. Not only for the most part in at least my own life, but, our journey. We travel where we are guided. We are just letting whatever unfold before us. I usually use the motto Let’s make it happen.  now, it is more majickal! Make it happen. Manifestation. When we take our hands off for the most part when trying to control our lives, it just unrolls for us. Thank you God for installing that cruise control, it is hard to get the hang of it, but once you have trust and faith in the mechanism, it truly works. Funny, we will trust brakes on a car, before we would trust our own instincts, or the unknown, or God. yea, weird.

I don’t know where we are headed right now, I know what my next 30 seconds are going to bring, and to tell you the truth, I don’t know what that will bring, as much could change my life in the next 30 seconds. All I do know is my right here, my right now.One thing Billy and I do very well together is adventure… as we both can leap and not look first. This we did in our relationship and marriage , this we did in our move to Utah, this we did with the bus, some may call it crazy,  I call it going with what is laying out in front of you, and going with it, as you shall be guided to where you belong. And I guess right now, we are being guided back towards Utah. Where and what is to take place on that next page, the next chapter or even the next book in the trilogy, I don’t know. I, hope, we, will remain all calmly guided.

We thought we were headed to Oregon, then, the telephone rang. ……A change of direction to the exact polar in climate and landscape of North Eugene, the Desert~

Yes folks, as of right now, it seems we shall be trading in our titles as road rats, in for desert rats… mmmmm… it is kinda wearing on me. The Desert did amazing things to my soul when we were just there, I am definitely looking forward to it again. The kids  and Billy are really indifferent, ahhh, yes, they were raised right. Home is where the Bus is. but, it is hard when sometimes a final decision does have to be made and everyone is indifferent…. hmmm, another post for another day…this life certainly has been however, from the pages of a choose your own adventure book! What is your adventure going to be?

Which brings me again to the limits. Maybe I feel “scared” “fearful” as we have not lived where we will be stationed,nor have we been, Neither in Oregon, but, I find familiarity amongst the grass  and the trees. I had only gotten to know the desert this year for only 3 weeks. Though, it seemed to be a great companion, I just didn’t realize it would be revisited so soon. This girl grew up on the sand, a beach girl, I am not shy of the sun, I love to feel the dirt and sand between my toes…. It is certainly water that I need…with us being on a Huge Lake, that shouldn’t be a problem. What about the grass, the green and the bark on the trees? these too are things my soul needs. I will grow more houseplants, outdoor plants and keep more greenery around 

Desert living could be good, amazing, all we have ever wanted or needed or it could just be for a time.

The offer is one we would be disappointed to pass up,it was an invite from family, wonderful friends <3

As of right now, we are out and about aways from Chico, attended High Sierra Music Festival had a blast! We are volunteering with Mystic Garden Party next. We are very excited! Bhagavan Das is doing a 2am workshop! Sweet!

Sage is making his Computer Video Games these days and Chelsea-Rain is with her friends in Chico. Billy spends his days sleeping, going to the store for us , caught him reading a few times, and just relaxing. and me, I think, write, think, meditate, write…daydream…nightdream..liveinmydreams…and write. LIFE IS BLISS

ok all, there is so much to tell you, but, of course never enough time, and I do run out of steam, well, I look down at 2am, no wonder.

Good ol “Busty” (aka..bussy… da bus) made it! to Quincy, California! We have been driving the same road for 7 yrs to High Sierra Music Festival. She was supposed to make the trip last year, but, due to unexpected dilemmas, we left the big girl home.

This time! Da bus is with us, we made the trip in 2 days, stopped in Wendover, lost $4 in slot machines~ and realized that the Red Garter Casino, puts the HO in HOtel. As sage asks me why the H-O is the brightest lit neon on the sign, as the lady dangles her leg back and forth over it

Sleeping at the Pilot, we woke the next day, to bust it out to Quincy. Billy drove about 11 hours, which, I quite thought was impressive, as we in no way intended on it, but, it was also wayyyy to hot to stick around Nevada!

Pulling in Sat night to Quincy, we hunkered down for a sleep at the rest stop. Waking to cruise to our camp site 1 day early.

We are out of money, coming from now no further income. We have limited left over from our tax return to make it to Oregon. Keeping it on the cheap, we are dropping any pride and have asked grocery stores and church’s now for food. We could buy it, but, shit, gotta be sure we have gas for Oregon. I think food will come much easier for us then gas money. We are not starving by anymeans, lol. so no worries, but, hell if you want to click on the side button and donate $5, $10, or even $500! haha, it would be forever appreciated.

After High Sierra, we were invited to Mystic Garden Party, if only we could get paid for this stage set up, and hospitality racket he and I have going on, hell! haha.

Ive got 2 tickets to TaraDise!

The dreaded Sunday came, I filed for Billy’s unemployment, there they were, the digital words shining bright upon the screen, “This is your LAST claim”

Seeing this, I felt my heart sink, yet, for some reason still did not waiver in my faith. Billy surprised me, he let the “official” news roll off his shoulders, now, I truly knew we would be ok.

We paid no mind to it for the week, enjoying our friends, and as always ironing out some wrinkles in the sand.

Scouring www.craigslist.org we found a few amazing opportunities in which we had applied for. There, however, was one that stood out above the rest.

30 miles N of Eugene, Oregon! My phone rings bright and early yesterday morning, to a new friend with a vision! Living on 10 acres of land, he tells me, ” I have so much, I want to share it.”

We have been invited to stay and help work to partake in and create a self-sustaining community. He has grandiose, real, visions of everything from Tee Pees, cobb homes to apartments on this land. Creating an environment of   independence, freedom and a real family community. We could be a perfect fit, he tells me, I believe yes! We will be!

Thank you our new friend, we are very excited to join you on your venture~ Thank you for the invite, hold that spot for us- We will be there soon.

We have traveled full time for exactly 1 year when we head to Oregon. Full-timing has brought us closer, brought us each into knowing more of ourselves, it has served its purpose for it’s time. But, every road needs to wind down the speed limit sometimes, as there are alot of pitfalls out there. Time to plant some tomatoes, write some books, maybe even catch a few babies again, who knows what my or my family’s future holds… I sure as hell love watching the road unfold, however, right before my eyes…. We don’t even have to steer.

I love God guiding life on cruise control.

Between Salt Lake City and Park City, we have stumbled across true friendship, love, trust, faith and fun!

Our friends have opened their doors and their hearts to us from the minute we placed our tires on Home Turf.

Nancy and Otis opened their home,showers and parking for us, having a couple of fabulous nights, tequila, lemonade, and always delicious food! Thank you both and we would love to see you before we go, as always it is such an amazing blessed time being with you.

Rebecca, Chris, the children and the fun off 3300 South! Thank you and thank you to your neighbors and friends for having us as well, we completely took over your home for about one week and enjoyed every minute of it! You have been family from the very beginning thank you for letting us park, shower, live in your home while you were away, lol, and even when you came back!

Kims Bark City Resort! hehe, well, our fabulous dear friend Kim P. and her doggies welcomed us to stay and enjoy for this home of luxury for this week. We sip cocktails by day, as I write and lay on the most amazing teetering land hammock thing! (this; she is gifting to us in exchange for Billy putting in some lighting! yay us!)  oh and yes! again, another place for another amazing shower! Thank you Kimmi for enjoying this week with us, and fitting our home so perfectly in your driveway

We haven’t seen Chelsea too much as she has been off with her friends. I do miss her and our time together, though it makes me so happy to know that my kids have not suffered socially one bit on this adventure, we are at the 10 mos. mark of being on the road, and I do believe my children have been more social then if they were in a classroom with the same kids everyday, dealing  with the same dramas and never really changing or seeing growth. Sorry, I ramble, different post for a different day, ay?

Speaking of 10 mos. yes it has been 10 mos. and we have also now collected our very last or I should say Billy’s very last unemployment check………hmmmmm…… Stay tuned to find out, are you following that bus? or….will the bus be parking for even just a short while…….?

Welcome~ To Desert Earth!

About 3 weeks in Moab, Utah left us feeling, dirty, tired, excited, and just ready for more!

May 18th, we pull in to Area BFE- Set up time, it is the locale of the Desert Rocks Music Festival.

Seeing old friends, broadening what once was just acquaintances, and making new.

The time was great, emotional, the land was barren for 10 days after our arrival. We watched as the beams went up, going from nothingness to a vision of towers. Billy assisted with the stage setup, as I found time to write, paint and try to keep the crew of workers fed.

Chelsea-Rain left with her friend, back to Salt Lake until festival started.

Sage worked on his photoshop projects, videos and created a map of festival grounds for the Volunteer Coordinator~

The winds blew through, as the scenery was beyond picturesque. Our home sat on a hill, inwhich you could see all ends of the earth.

Majestic mountains, purple, red, and shades of blue.

Gorgeous!

Festival came to us, and went, dressed in nothing less then style. www.DesertRocks.org

JGB, the Motet, wow! and even our own, Chelsea-Rain rocked the house.

The nights were cool and filled with a great show of lights on the main stage, a fun mix of bands on the Uncle Uncanny’s stage, as the SolLun rocked the nights and days with a 3rd stage and the Solar Saucer, hidden in a grotto of forest and rock.

A great mix of music, eclectic styles merging, to truly bring the festival go-er, a unique experience among one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Faith-

Trust-

Reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing; confidence.

Feelings, we must be careful of, as these are languages that our souls uses to communicate to our selves. Ahhh, the mind, body, soul trinity! aha, well, let’s visit that at another time . When you have what you know as a feeling, is it maybe just an emotion? pay attention, as these are different things. True feelings inside, come from the place of the core, you may have feelings with emotion, You can also show emotion without true feelings, You can have feelings without the showcasing of emotions.

Trust your true inner feelings, the one in your heart and your stomach area, always be aware not to fall in traps of dramatic, emotional, displays of showcasings.  When you truly turn in and listen, feel, you will see you will no longer need to search, as all along, within you, has been, even if dormant; FAITH, TRUST, and HOPE
